For Makeda Paul, making natural products is in her blood. Her great-grandmother was the herbalist in a small Caribbean town in Trinidad & Tobago. Her knowledge of herbs, essential oils and flowers was used to help her clients. This knowledge, passed down through the matriarchs of her family and now includes Makeda, owner of bluebasins Bath & Body.
Today she incorporates her great-grandmother's knowledge (now named Herbalism and Aromatherapy) with the knowledge we have acquired today thereby creating a synergy between both old and new creating fantastic products.

Mango Whipped Body Souffle - a body cream so delicately whipped it has a mousse-like texture. It goes on light and leaves a soft silky coat of moisture on skin that is not greasy or sticky. It worked just as well on our hands as it did on our heels. The scent is light and fresh - with a hint mango. It can easily be layered with other fragrances. Also available in Spring, Coconut Cream, Vanilla and Fragrance Free.
Seaweed, Chamomile, Green Tea & Herb Polishing Facial Scrub - just add water and gently scrub on face. Designed to remove dirt and dead skin cells. This healthy combination of ingredients left my skin refreshed and gave my
cheeks a healthy, rosy glow after just one use. Facial steams also available.
Tea Tree and Eucalyptus Energy Body Shampoo - One of my favorites. Skip the coffee, this stuff will wake you up and leave you feeling sooo clean. It has excellent germ-killing properties, as well as anti-fungal, anti-viral and antibacterial capabilities. Can also be used on the face.
